Our style

Your wedding day is one you will want to remember for many years to come, you will be looking good and feeling great and we aim to capture the special atmosphere of your day by taking images in an unobtrusive style. We will take natural, relaxed shots to help record your big day and although initially you may not want any of the more formal shots, it's good to capture some shots of the bride and groom with family members and close friends. That's why we use a combination of reportage and traditional styles, with the minimum of fuss to provide you with a record of your day and a range of images that will suit everyone's taste. Of course we will discuss your wishes beforehand, then it's up to us to capture you at your very best. We pride ourselves in attention to detail to provide you with superb quality images.

After all your wedding photographs will probably be the only tangible thing you have to help ensure your memories of your special day don't fade!

Our photographer will arrange a pre wedding consultation which provides you with an opportunity to meet and discuss your requirements and any special ideas you may have in mind.
 

Classic Wedding Package from £499+ VAT

Our classic package includes:

• A pre wedding consultation

• 4 hour wedding photo shoot – This can cover the bride arriving at the church or venue, the groom and best man and selection of guests arriving, the ceremony and a range of formal and informal shots of the bride and groom and wedding party.

• Air brushing and editing included, we can provide a mix of colour and black and white images.

• Online proofs within 7-10 days unless otherwise indicated.

• Proofs will be displayed in a private password protected online gallery.

• Offering anything between 50-80 images.

• A disc of your high resolution, retouched wedding photographs will be provided to you as standard with each package.
 

Premium Wedding Package from £699+VAT

Our Premium Package includes:

• A pre wedding consultation

• All day coverage starting early to cover the bridal preparations then onto the church or venue to capture the bride arriving at the church or venue, the groom and best man, guests arriving, the ceremony, full range of formal and informal shots of the bride and groom and wedding party. The wedding breakfast, speeches, cutting of the cake and onto the first dance if you wish.

• Air brushing and editing included, we can provide a mix of colour and black and white images.

• Online proofs within 7-10 days unless otherwise indicated.

• Proofs will be displayed in a private password protected online gallery.

• Offering anything between 50-80 images.

• A disc of your high resolution, retouched wedding photographs will be provided to you as standard with each package.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

Q: Are you the wedding photographer who will actually take our pictures?
A: Yes – our photographer will meet you at your pre wedding consultation to get to know you and find out exactly what you are looking for.

Q: Will you u bring an assistant on the day?
A: Yes, this ensures that we can capture all the shots you want with the minimum of fuss.

Q: Do you use film or digital equipment?
A: We use the latest digital technology to ensure superb quality

Q: Will you need to bring a lot of equipment with you on the day?
A: We will bring all the equipment we may need. We prefer to be as mobile as possible and utilise all natural light where possible, however we will bring portable studio lights, tripods, spare cameras and reflectors just in case.

Q: How many other events will you also photograph that weekend?

A: None - we only cover one wedding in a week - you have our full attention.

Q: Can I get copies of all the photographs you take?
A: Yes of course, you will be given a CD with all your images as standard?

Q: Can I have black and white photographs?
A: Yes we offer a selection of full colour and black and white images.

Q: Will I need to provide a meal for the photographer on the day?
A: No we will be unobtrusive and all you have to worry about is enjoying your special day.

Q: How will we get to see our images after the wedding?
A: You will be given a access to a secure password protected site where you can view your images online.

Q: How long will it take for you to edit the photographs and put them up on your secure site?
A: Your images will be online for you to view within 7-10 days unless notified otherwise .

Q: What if I don't have internet access?

A: By arrangement our photographer can come to meet you so you can view your images on the laptop.

Q: How many photographs will I get?
A: Our Classic package offers anything between 50-80 images. Our Premium package offers anything between 80-200 images covering the full wedding day.

Q: Can you provide wedding albums?
A: Yes we can provide premium high quality bespoke albums, these are charged separately and additional time will obviously need to be factored in. Please speak to our photographer for costs and what choices are on offer.

Of course we will be more than happy to discuss any of the above or answer any other questions you may have.
 

Terms and Conditions for Wedding Packages

All appointments are subject to availability.

A £100 deposit will be payable to DS Print and Design on any booking taken for either of our Classic or Premium wedding packages. Payments can be made by debit card or PayPal and all major credit/debit cards are accepted. The outstanding balance will be paid in full 4 weeks prior to your wedding booking.

As you will appreciate wedding bookings are taken well in advance and to this end if you wish to re-arrange your booking you must contact our photographer immediately on 07809 465827 or DS Print and Design on 0114 266 9000. Bookings can be rearranged free of charge if you provide at least 8 weeks notice, subject to availability your booking will be re-scheduled.

If you wish to cancel a wedding booking appointment and you provide the required 8 weeks notice your £100 deposit will be reimbursed, if however you wish to cancel your booking and you do not provide at least 8 weeks notice your deposit will be non refundable.

By booking a Wedding package with ICON Images you will be subject to these full terms and conditions.

Our ICON Images photographer has full public liability insurance.
